Registration Deadline
Please complete and submit the requested registration information no later than February 23, 2018. You will have until March 23, 2018 to request changes to your registration. Upon receipt of your completed registration information, Beckman Coulter Life Sciences will secure your resort accommodations, airport transfers, and the selected optional activities for you and your guest.
Airline Reservations and Ticketing
- All airline reservations must be Coach Class seating to Lanai Airport (LNY) and secured through your local Beckman Coulter travel agency. Airline ticketing costs will be charged back by the travel agency to your local department. Airport transfers to the Four Seasons Resort Lanai and back to the airport will be provided by your Beckman Coulter hosts.
- Most flights to Lanai Airport (LNY) will connect through Honolulu International Airport (HNL). All guests traveling through HNL will have access to the private Four Seasons Lanai airport lounge.
- Alternatively, you can travel to Lanai via Maui (OGG). Please contact the Inner Circle Events Team directly at [email protected] if you are considering this option as we have recommended hotels from which we can provide group transportation to Lahaina Harbor, and we prefer to book your ferry crossing from Lahaina Harbor on Maui to Manele Harbor on Lanai on your behalf, per your flight manifest. Ground transportation from Manele Harbor to the Four Seasons Resort Lanai will be provided by your Beckman Coulter hosts.
- All U.S. Awardees should call BCD Travel at 800-780-5946. Please push “3” as soon as you hear the recording and your call will be transferred to the designated airline ticketing agents assigned to the Inner Circle Program. Please identify yourself as part of the “BECK INNER CIRCLE LNY” group when contacting an agent to book your travel.
- All international Awardees booking through your local BCD travel agency must reference “BECK INNER CIRCLE LNY” when contacting an agent to book your travel.
Passport and Visa Requirements
Non U.S. citizens should verify any visa requirements for entry into Hawaii prior to departing for the Inner Circle Program.
A passport valid for at least six months beyond your departure date from Lanai will be required for all non U.S. citizens traveling on this program.
NOTE: After January 22, 2018, residents of the following U.S. states will require a passport for domestic travel: Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Washington.
We suggest that you make additional copies of your passport and bring these with you in case your passport is lost or stolen. Do not carry these copies in the same location as your actual passport.
Consistent with Beckman Coulter Travel Guidelines, if you require a new passport, or your passport needs renewal in order to attend this company event, please expense the associated fees. Costs associated with obtaining a passport for your invited guest, however, are considered a personal expense.
Participant Guidelines
Please note that the following guidelines have been created to meet Beckman Coulter Risk Management and Tax Assessment requirements.
The Inner Circle Program is not a family event and is therefore, limited to the specific Beckman Coulter Awardee and one Guest over 21 years of age. Children are not permitted to attend. Additional Guests and/or family members are also not permitted to be on property for this Beckman Coulter business meeting event. The Inner Circle rules also specify that Awardees are not permitted to invite a customer, business associate, or another Beckman Coulter employee as a Guest unless that individual is their spouse. If a Guest is employed by a company that is a direct competitor of Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, they are not permitted to attend. Only the invited Awardee is eligible to participate in the award event, and he/she must attend in order to invite a guest. The program is limited to two individuals per resort room. If an Awardee’s Guest requires separate accommodations, Beckman Coulter will not be responsible for the additional expense. For additional Inner Circle Award terms and conditions, please refer to the published 2017 Inner Circle Qualification Rules or the Terms and Conditions contained with the Registration portion of this website.
Program Rules state that Awardees and their Guests may not arrive at the selected award destination prior to the program’s official arrival date. Should an Awardee decide to travel to another destination prior to or after the program, the Awardee will be fully responsible for all personal expenses incurred. Beckman Coulter will take no responsibility for securing arrangements outside of the official program dates or bear any cost related to such extension arrangements.
If flights require overnight travel to Lanai (i.e. red eye flight) Awardees and Guests may stay overnight in the connecting city and expense the associated costs for lodging and meals, with the approval of your direct supervisor. Guests who can travel directly to Lanai in a single day for arrival by 4 PM are not permitted to expense their overnight stay in a connecting city. Required overnight stays due to travel to Lanai via Maui can be discussed directly with your BCD travel agent (North America), or you may email the Worldwide Inner Circle Events Team at [email protected].
Your attendance at the Welcome Reception on May 3rd is desired, but it is not mandatory if your travel arrangements do not permit it.
